Ringo Starr Cuts Short 2024 Autumn U.S. Tour Due to Illness
Ringo Starr, the iconic former drummer of The Beatles, has unfortunately had to cut his 2024 Autumn U.S. tour short due to illness. Fans in Philadelphia and New York were especially disappointed, as he was scheduled to perform two shows—one at TD Pavilion at The Mann in Philadelphia on September 24th, and another at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on September 25th.
According to Ringo’s spokesperson, the singer was advised by a doctor to cancel his remaining shows and take time to rest after coming down with a cold. Ticket holders will be notified via email, and refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Ringo and his band, the All Starrs, expressed their gratitude, saying, “As always, Ringo and the All Starrs send peace and love to their fans and hope to see them soon.” The band had kicked off their tour on September 7th in San Diego and managed to perform 10 concerts before Ringo fell ill.
